This looks like SpaceX competitor. Why not invest on SpaceX instead, assuming you have contacts?

I also want to understand how this would do away with other companies like at&t, t-mobile, and verizon. Not to mention, t-mobile is also going to be partnering with SpaceX to provide service.

@sam789 it’s not a competitor in reality. SpaceX beams to dishes for Wi-Fi …these guys will beam 5g straight to the phone already in your pocket. Similar but very very different fundamentally.

@freebeetoo not going to do away with anybody. They will be partnering directly with AT&T and other large global mobile providers. They are not going to work directly with consumers at all.

@Chuck I was going to answer @sam789 with the same answer myself. Seems like we’ve both done thoroughly research. Proud of you! There are no competitors to $ASTS at this moment. They broke a record in May as well. First ever satellite to give signal to a regular smartphone. SpaceX needs dishes, they are not the same.

@Token agreed. This is world changing tech. Just need the funding piece to come together which I think will happen as they roll out further data speed results $$$

Another great thing to add here is that the towers that provides signal in rural areas costs more to drift than what they get in revenue. It’s a lost cause. How chill would it be to ALWAYS have a signal? It would provide the entire world with internet. I am so bullish on $ASTS. So, so bullish.

So chuck, what exactly is the risk to reward ratio here? I kinda want to dabble, but I’ve been burned with these SHORTS MUST COVER kind of plays
