A Post To Help Newbies
Like myself, I think it would be awesome if some of you very experienced players would post either a tip or most importantly these things down below. 1. Resources you use 2. How you find stocks to start your research process on 3. Videos (names, YouTube channels, etc) that helped you learn charting, options, swing trading, etc. There’s so much bull shit info out there. It’s so hard to go through the weeds and avoid the online courses. I feel like this post could help alot of people like myself. Two people I’ve been watching lately is Invest with Henry and Felix and Friends on YouTube. Thank you ahead of time to everyone who commented to help us newbies!

# *Resources I Use:* AI tools, AfterHour app, and X (formerly Twitter) for real-time updates. # *How I Find Stocks:* - Stock screeners within Fidelity's ATH app to narrow down candidates. I then perform due diligence using AI for deeper insights and some traditional research (grit and grunt work). # *Videos That Helped Me:* - SMB Capital (trading strategies, options) - ClearView Tax (great for tax-efficient trading) - Invest with Henry and Felix on YouTube (a solid foundation).

Unironically I like to read comments on stocks like Yahoo Finance comment posts and Webull comment sections on stocks 😂

Best thing to help a newbie: stick to quality big stocks. They are more forgiving when you make mistakes so you can learn. And once you get better, focus on growing your account through income and stick to big boys. If you wanna gamble, keep it before like 5% of your account. Stock market is supposed to be boring and goal is to not lose so don’t let the 100% gain screenshots give you fomo.

But in all seriousness I spent roughly 10 hours a day listening to YouTube stock analysis videos. Channel names: Geeks of Finance, Joseph Carlson After Hours, Stock Markets with Bruce, The Finance Hydra, FX Evolution, Dividend Talks, Future Investing, Felix and Friends, Jeremy Lefebvre, Stocked Up, Tevis, Ticker Symbol YOU, The Maverick of Wall Street. Those are just some of the channels I watch, other channels I watch but I won't list them because they are more about broader market sentiment videos.
