Thank You AfterHours Family!
Over the past three months, I've been actively trading on Robinhood in an effort to turn my portfolio profitable. Initially, I invested about $10,000 to turn my portfolio around and used the premium version of Autopilot. However, I quickly discovered flaws in the app when Warren Buffett sold a large amount of BAC stock, and the app failed to reflect this significant change in a timely manner. Frustrated, I deleted the app and began monitoring Robinhood daily to recuperate my losses whenever possible.
As I sold off positions, I searched for new stocks to invest the freed-up capital. That's when I discovered AfterHours via the Race to 10 Million subreddit. Over the past two months or so, I've been immersing myself in AfterHours content, reading extensively, and configuring Robinhood in a way that has helped me climb out of the hole my portfolio was in. While my account shows a gain of $1,250, this figure doesn't fully capture the recovery from previous losses. I'm treating this portfolio as a proof of concept before moving more funds into it. I understand that beginner's luck may have contributed to my initial success, so I'm only using money I'm comfortable risking.
With that said, I want to give back to the community that has helped me make my Robinhood portfolio profitable. My method involves diving into AfterHours content, looking for solid due diligence, and monitoring stocks to identify potentially profitable entry points. I typically aim to buy in at or below these points, target a 2–4% gain, and then sell my shares in quarters. For example, if I own 100 shares, I'd sell 25 shares and closely monitor the stock from that point forward; depending on whether it dips or rises, I'd sell another 25 shares, and so on.
Here are some of the most successful indicators I've used to become profitable. I regret not documenting the DD more thoroughly, which I plan to do in the future. The DD on these entry points was gathered strictly from posts, comments, and chat discussions within the community. Any ticker that has more than one buy-in point I consider very reliable and sometimes I buy at a higher entry point if I have extra funds available:
$RXRX – 6.70 & 6.60 & 6.50
$ASTS – 27.30 & 27.20 & 27.10
$NNE – 19.75
$LPSN – 1.15, 1.12, 1.10
$ALTO – 1.69, 1.65
$PCT – 10.50 & 10.00 & 9.50
$ENVX – 11.25, 11.20 - Edit: $ENVX added another 100 million public shares since this post after a strong earnings report. The buy in for this is no longer accurate.
$ANY – 0.88
I'd like to reiterate that I'm still a relatively new trader, and profits are not guaranteed.
I'm posting today to share that I've decided to sell off all my positions—including absorbing the remaining losses from the Autopilot app—after waking up to a profit of $825.
Starting fresh with a cool $1250 bonus.
Thank you all!
