Hello all, I've been dabbling in options for some time now, trying to learn how the pros do it. I'm quite interested in the cash secure put options trading. Do any of you know of a good learning resource that explains the different metrics of a stock and how we can use these metrics to determine a possible good or bad trade? I have a great income source and have around 1k that I want to use for learning purposes, no issues losing it through mistakes if I learn from them. Any help is appreciated.

I'd say, pick companies you'd want to own. I go for 30 to 60 DTE. And I look for about 2% ROC. Meaning if I sell a put at a $100 strike, I'd like to collect $200 in premium. Sell CSPs on red days. And I aim for less than a 30∆. The lower, the better!
